Red-Shine is aimed at the proposal of an infrastructure for the semantic mash-up of services and their subsequent integration in the WWW. During the project, the OQLiST language will be redefined in order to take into account the declarative definition of semantic and reliable mash-ups.

Red-Shine covers the research challenge of managing non-functional properties, associated to services’ coordination. In this sense, the main project goal is the definition of a language to express non-functional properties in an orthogonal form, specifying at the same time execution strategies to add non-functional properties to the mash-ups. The Thematic Networks look for promote and strengthen collaboration between research groups and technology in higher education institutions, research centers, companies and/or national laboratories across Mexico, in strategic areas to achieve articulated and structured solutions to contribute to the national development and welfare of its population.

Within the Thematic Networks one of them is the Information Technology and Communication. This network is currently made up of a Technical-Academic Committee whose members, as in most networks, were responsible for the proposed Megaprojects[…]


Based on the collections available on the Open Network of Digital Libraries (Red Abierta de Binliotecas Digitales – RABiS), among which are counted  journals, digital documents, as well as undergraduate and graduate theses; their use will be based on existing mechanisms in OAI-PMH and other will be developed according with protocols of  participant collections in order to harvest metadata.[…]


A través de este proyecto se desarrollará una plataforma tecnológica que facilitará la construcción, acceso compartido y manipulación remota de objetos de aprendizaje (OAs) que incluyen contenidos gráficos tridimensionales (3D).

Dado el impacto que tienen los elementos 3D en los procesos cognitivos, el proyecto tiene como objetivo principal proveer herramientas para el instructor que faciliten la construcción de objetos de aprendizaje con elementos 3D (OA3D), así como medios para el estudiante que le permitan manipular dichos elementos en espacios virtuales compartidos con otros usuarios (estudiantes e instructores) distribuidos y comunicándose a través de Internet 2. […]
